5 Days Fairy Meadows Trip Overview

A trek from Fairy Meadows to Bayal Camp lasts two hours one way at a height of 3500 meters. Typically, the Fairy Meadows trekking route takes 2 hours one way. Not complex, but more accessible than most. Initially, the first route followed a flat, hilly path through the Fairy Meadows forest, offering views of Nanga Parbat and the Raikot Glacier. So, a trail runs about an hour in the jungle over flat terrain, passing through several streams until you reach an opening where you can see the village covered by Nanga Parbat. Bayal Camp welcomes you. The observation point, 3667 meters high, offers a close-up view of Raikot Glacier and Nanga Parbat, so you can enjoy a cup of coffee or continue walking for another 30 minutes on the way. In addition, the famous places to cover are Raikot Bridge, Tattu Village, Bayal Camp, and Killer Mountain, Nanga Parbat.

Fairy Meadows is a high-altitude of about 3,300 metres (10,800 ft) above sea level, meadow in the middle of the Himalayan mountain range in Pakistan. It is famous for its stunning scenery, unspoiled natural beauty, and breathtaking views of some of the tallest peaks in the world.

Fairy Meadows has good cellular network coverage, mainly provided by Scom (Special Communications Organization) from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm. You can buy the SIM from Chillas, Raikot Bridge, or Gilgit City. Each SIM cost you Rs.800.

A duration of 5 to 7 days is best to explore the main tourist attractions in Fairy Meadows like Nanga Parbat Base Camp, Reflection Lake, Meadows, and many more. With a week to spare, you can comfortably see all the scenic sites and also engage in activities such as trekking, jeep safaris, and photography.

Fairy Meadows is open for tourists from May to October. However, the best months are July-August and September-October. These are the best time periods to explore and enjoy the allure beauty of Fairy Meadows and its surroundings.

Fairy Meadows roads condition and jeep track condition is safe and sound for all kind of nature lovers and trekkers. Jeep drivers are locals and experts. They know each and every tough corner of the jeep track. Even horse riders are skillful to serve you in better ways.

From Tattu village onward, it takes about three to four hours of hiking to cover the winding and primitive track distance of a five-kilometer trek to Fairy Meadows.

Its moderate level trekking trail. You need some fitness and trekking experience to go up to Fairy Meadows. It takes 4 to 5 hours to get from Tattu Village to Fairy Meadows, and you can trek down in 2 hours.

Fairy Meadows is a stunning location in Pakistan situated in the Gilgit-Baltistan region at the foot of Nanga Parbat, the ninth tallest mountain globally. From Fairy Meadows, you can admire Pakistan’s most beautiful mountain and the ninth-highest mountain on Earth, Nanga Parbat.

To experience the enchanting beauty of Fairy Meadows 4 by 4 off-road jeep track is about 14 – 15 kilometers (2-hour one way) long and starts from Raikot Bridge on the Karakoram Highway, leading to the village of Tattu (Tato). The treacherous and narrow gravel road leading from the Raikot bridge to the Tattu Village.

There are many campsites, local wooden huts, and good standard hotels available at Fairy Meadows.
