Day 05 | The Climb to Fairy Meadows

PHASE III: BALTISTAN & THE SILK ROAD

Day 07 | To the Heart of Skardu

  • 07:00 | Breakfast & Descent: Trek back to Tattu and jeep ride to Raikot.
  • 10:00 | Skardu Road: Navigate the cliffs along the Indus River toward Baltistan.
    • 13:30 | Lunch Break: 30 minutes on the way.
    • 16:30 | Kachura Lakes: Visit Shangrila (Lower Kachura) and Upper Kachura
    Lake.
    • 20:00 | Dinner: Check-in to the hotel and dinner at hotel or nearby restaurant.
    • Overnight: Skardu.

Day 07 (Fairy Meadows to Skardu)

6:00 AM: Early breakfast at Fairy Meadows.
6:30 AM: Begin the hike down to Tattu Village.
8:30 AM: Transfer to jeeps for the drive back to Raikot Bridge.
10:00 AM: Board the motorcoach and start the journey toward Skardu, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Karakoram Highway.
2:00 PM: Stop for a lunch break en route.
5:00 PM: Arrive in Skardu and check in at the Shangrila Resort.

Payment Terms & Conditions:

 Non-Refundable Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. This deposit secures your place on the tour and covers administrative processing costs. Once paid, the deposit cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

Final Payment Deadline:
The full balance of the tour cost is due by Sep 01, 2027 to the departure date. Failure to pay the remaining
balance by this deadline will result in automatic cancellation of your booking, and any amounts paid will be forfeited.

Payment Methods:
All payments must be made via approved methods, including bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other payment platforms designated by the company. Payments via check, cash, or non-approved methods will not be accepted.

All bank charges or processing fees associated with payment methods are the responsibility of the traveler.

Changes to Booking & Payment Adjustments:
If a traveler wishes to make any changes to their booking, including but not limited to tour dates, route, or accommodation, an administrative fee will apply. Any difference in the tour cost due to these changes must be paid in full at the time of the change request.

Terms & Conditions:

Booking & Payment Terms:
All bookings must be confirmed with a non-refundable deposit of $684, which must be paid at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due by SEP 01, 2016, before the tour departure.
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other approved methods.

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Up to 45 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded.
Less than 2 weeks before departure: No refund will be issued.
In the event of an emergency or unforeseen circumstances, the company will attempt to rebook
the tour on alternate dates; however, no refunds will be issued unless expressly authorized by the company.

Changes to Itinerary or Services:
The company reserves the right to alter or amend the itinerary due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather conditions, political instability, or natural disasters.
In such cases, the company will not be held liable for any additional costs or inconvenience. Incurred by travelers, including travel delays or accommodations. No compensation will be offered.

Travel Insurance:
It is the responsibility of the traveler to arrange for travel insurance or ask the company to arrange it for them.
The company is not responsible for any medical costs, accidents, or loss of personal property during the tour.

Liability & Safety:
The company is not responsible for any personal injury, illness, or damage to property caused during the tour.
The company provides basic first aid but is not liable for extensive medical treatment.
Travelers must follow the instructions of guides and staff at all times. The company is not liable for accidents resulting from negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.

Force Majeure:
The company is not responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes in the itinerary due to force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, wars, strikes, pandemics, government regulations).
In such cases, the company may cancel or postpone the tour and will not be required to provide refunds or compensation.

Conduct & Behavior:
Engage in illegal activities or fail to follow company rules. No refund will be given under these circumstances.
Travelers must comply with all local laws and customs during the tour. Any legal actions or penalties resulting from non-compliance are solely the traveler’s responsibility.

Photographs & Media:
The company reserves the right to take photographs and videos of the tour, which may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. By booking a tour, travelers consent to the use of their images without compensation.

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution:
Any disputes or claims arising from or in connection with the tour shall be governed by the laws of Pakistan.

Terms & Conditions:
Any disputes will be settled through arbitration in Lahore, Pakistan. The decision of the arbitrator will be final and binding.

Health & Fitness:
Travelers are required to inform the company of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in the tour. Failure to disclose such information may result in the denial of participation.
The company is not liable for any health-related incidents or injuries during the tour.

Age Restrictions & Children’s Policy:
The company may impose age restrictions on certain tours, and it is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure their eligibility.
Only 18+ can join the Group Tour independently, or those under 18 should be with their Parents/Guardians.

Special Requests:
Any special requests (e.g., dietary requirements, room preferences, etc.) must be communicated at the time of booking. The company will make reasonable efforts to accommodate these requests, but does not guarantee fulfillment.
Booking Transfer:
Bookings are non-transferable. Travelers cannot transfer their booking to another person, and no exceptions will be made.

Agreement to Terms:
By making a booking with the company, the traveler acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these terms may result in cancellation of the tour without refund.

Policy for International Travelers:

Documentation Requirement: All travelers must carry valid passports, visas, and any necessary travel documents required for entry into Pakistan and any other destination visited during the tour. It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure that they have all necessary paperwork in order.

Customs & Immigration: The company is not responsible for any issues with customs, immigration, or entry to Pakistan or any other country. Any issues arising from immigration or customs delays, including fines or penalties, are the traveler’s responsibility.

Language & Communication: English is the primary language for communication during the tour. The company is not responsible for translation services, though guides will assist where possible.

Local Laws & Regulations: The company ensures that all tours comply with Pakistani laws and regulations. It is the traveler’s
responsibility to respect local customs, cultures, and legal frameworks.

Yes, breakfast and dinner are included each day. Meals include traditional Pakistani dishes and international options.

How do we travel during the tour?
You’ll travel in air-conditioned private vehicles. In mountainous areas, we use 4×4 jeeps for better access and safety.

Is it safe to travel in Pakistan?
Yes. We follow approved routes, work with licensed guides, and take all necessary precautions to ensure a safe experience.

What should I pack for the tour?
Pack comfortable clothes, a light jacket, walking shoes, sunscreen, and your passport. A detailed packing list is sent after registration.

Do I need travel insurance?
